Strengths:  Easy to use features and menu
Weaknesses:  Settings revert to auto each time camera is powered off and restarted
Review:  This camera takes excellent pictures, 7 mp is all most of us need. I bought this to take on a ski trip. I wanted a small inexpensive camera to take on the hills and am impressed with the ease of use and picture quality. I recommend a high speed SD card to write the images faster. It has never frozen up as previous review.

Strengths:  Uses AA batteries and an SD card, easy to use
Weaknesses:  Optical vs. Digital Zoom - less MP available
Review:  I bought this camera because I wanted a good, basic, not too expensive model for an upcoming vacation that was higher resolution than my current 2 mp camera. It seems to take good, clear shots, and the preview LCD is bright! The one thing I'm disappointed about is the optical vs. digital zoom. At up to 3x, it's still 6mp, but as you get closer to an object, the resolution and MP go down...

Weaknesses:  Use of viewfinder causes nose to touch, and smear, LCD screen. They could use an extender on the viewfinder.
Review:  I have shot approximately 500 pictures in the first 2 weeks of ownership. The image quality on the LCD screen is a bit distorted but the actual pictures have been fabulous. The whole HP 945 system, including docking station is very easy to use.
